- 9 timer over 4 uker (digitalkurs) eller 7 timer heldagskurs
Level 1 in Wine information in English
WSET L1 in Wine is suitable for people with little wine experience as the first step to understanding wine-tasting techniques, wine styles, recognise the main grape varieties, and gives a fun introduction to wine and food pairing. Taste 11 wines. The course is held either as a 1-day course in the classroom, or digitally with live tuition via Zoom over over 4 evenings All our WSET courses are taught in English. At the end of the course, you will have a 45-minute multiple-choice exam.

- Suitable for new beginners or people with little wine experience, and gives basic knowledge about wine types and wine styles.
- Learn the WSET tasting technique with 11 wines
- Learn about the most important grape varieties in the world
- Understand how wines are made
- Learn the principles of food and wine in combination
- All materials including the coursebook, the exam, and all tuition sessions are in English. Any questions during the course can be answered in either English or Norwegian
- Tuition time: 6 – 7 hours for the 1- day course, or 9 hours in total for the 4-week digital evening course.
