About Medici Ermete
Medici Ermete has produced Lambrusco in Emilia Romagna for more than 100 years, and now the 4th generation is in charge of the company. Together they own 80 ha of vineyards, and focus on sustainability and organic production.
Lambrusco is an indigenous grape strongly associated with Emilia Romagna. There are in fact approx. 15 different Lambrusco grapes, the most well-known being Lambrusco Salamino, Lambrusco Grasparossa and Lambrusco di Sorbara. Lambrusco is made as a sparkling wine, red or rosé wine.
In the 1970s and 1980s, Lambrusco was one of the most popular wines in the world, at the time it was produced in a much sweeter style. Today, the focus is more on quality with reduced yields and more sustainable vineyard management.

deep ruby, refreshing acidity, crunchy sour cherries, black cherries, raspberries and hint of chocolate. Pure fruited, with firm mousse and moderately long finish. Interesting wine – would work well with Norwegian «Ribbe» as well as desserts such as chocolate and raspberry coulis.Vurdering:
