Chassenay d´Arce was founded in 1956 and now has more than 100 families and three generations of winemakers. As a cooperative, working together is really key to their success, and they are really proud to be the first Champagne House certified internationally for Sustainable Winegrowing. This extremely challenging certification shows a commitment not only to quality wines but also to the protection of the environment, region, and local heritage. Some of their producers already converted to organic production in 2009 and in a few years, they expect that 20% of their vineyards will be certified organic. This is not an easy task however, because many of the producer members have other crops as well as vineyards, and to be certified organic, they need to certify their whole farm and not just the vineyards!
Chassenay d´Arce makes just over 1 million bottles per year, whilst the rest of their production is sold to the major Champagne Houses

Pale lemon. Very good intensity of lemon, green apple, white peach. On the palate crisp acidity, well-balanced with juicy lemon and white peach, elegant mid-palate and creamy textured mousse with a lengthy finish. Very good value for money.Vurdering:
